I’m xufei. This is my little digital garden on the Internet — a place for notes, maps, and working references around data engineering, architecture and AI. based on the Quartz build, by obsidian for document management.
Currently, I’m exploring how modern data systems can become more understandable, governable, and useful: from big data infrastructure and cloud-native platforms, to data architecture, governance, semantic layers, and AI-assisted workflows.
On a broader level, I care about building knowledge systems that help data practitioners see the shape of a problem more clearly: how concepts connect, how tools fit together, and how architectural decisions compound over time.
As far as “about” pages go, I hope this acts as an open invitation into the many paths throughout this garden. Here are some places you may want to visit:
- Bigdata Wiki OS: the operating map for this knowledge garden;
- MOC-BigData Map: a capability map for full-stack data engineering;
- MOC-Data Architecture Map: notes on data architecture, modeling, platforms, and tradeoffs;
- MOC-DCMM-DAMA Map: a governance-oriented path through DCMM, DAMA, and CDO topics;
- MOC-DATA+AI Agent Map: experiments and references around data, AI, and agents.
Outside of programming, I enjoy coffee, cycling, and tennis.
